Don't Worry Video and preview

Just a quick teaser about this week's message at Cape Naz. It's the third sermon in the PEACE series entitled "Don't Worry". We'll be borrowing from Bob Marley, from NBCOlympics.com (that's where the curling footage is from), and mostly from Paul and his letter to the Philippians.

Here's what Paul has to say about the idea of "don't worry"...

6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7 (NLT)

Really, this is a profoundly simple "if...then" passage from Paul. Pastors love these because they're essentially a pre-written outline for a Sunday sermon. It goes like this:

Subject: You.

Action: Don't worry... pray.

Result: God's PEACE.

I'll blog more about this subject this week. I'll also talk a bit about US Olympic curling team and John Shuster... who seemed to have a lot of worries this week.

The Stomp Box is back open for business! Check it out often as I'll be posting nearly every week.
